The tradition
C1 Cattle began when Ben bought his first registered Angus bull in 2006 from Ostrand Angus and bought the C1 brand from his grandpa Darrell Nelson. In 2022, Ben married his right hand lady, Emily Dethlefs, which meant Dethlefs Angus genetics were added to the herd and we began selling our bulls on the Dethlefs/Treffer production sale in 2023. In May of 2023 the future ranch hand Noah was born and the tradition continues.
